EVERY PROCEDURE, ALL THE TECHNOLOGY

In addition to additive manufacturing technology with different materials and methods, using new world-leading digital equipment enables Avinent CMF to offer dental professionals a wide range of possibilities to approach and resolve any situation.

A range of materials for every situation

Maxillofacial reconstructions are very complex and can widely differ. As such, it is very important for the health care professional to rely on a product and service that offers a wide range of materials and production systems.

PEEK

PEEK

Material: Polyether ether ketone

This is a highly resistant, thermally stable, and very malleable polymer. It has comparable physical characteristics to human bone. This is the most extensively used material in orthopaedics.
Titanium mesh

Titanium mesh

Material: Pure titanium

It adapts very well to any complicated geometric shapes. This is a very versatile material that offers excellent properties for osseointegration.
Solid titanium

Solid titanium

Material: Pure titanium

A highly resistant alternative to titanium mesh. Solid titanium offers many benefits for specific cases in which mechanical protective function is important.
Acrylic

Acrylic

Material: Methyl methacrylate

Acrylic resin is a very cheap biocompatible material that can be used in many different applications. Its neutral colour makes it very versatile both aesthetically and functionally.
Polyamide

Polyamide

Material: Synthetic polymer

It has a superb set of mechanical properties, is very tough, and has excellent slip and wear resistance characteristics.

EVERY PROCEDURE, ALL THE TECHNOLOGY

In addition to additive manufacturing technology with different materials and methods, using new world-leading digital equipment enables Avinent CMF to offer dental professionals a wide range of possibilities to approach and resolve any situation.

STEREOLITHOGRAPHY (SLA)

Laser cured resin. Solid object creation by printing a photopolymerisable material using ultraviolet light.

MATERIAL JETTING

An ultraviolet light cured liquid resin. A procedure conceived to provide laboratories with the best dental models as quickly as possible with an injection system that provides higher precision and quality.

DIRECT METAL LASER SINTERING (DMSL)

Additive manufacturing technology that provides the possibility of working with an extensive range of alloys, building components layer upon layer. Long-lasting and resistant components can be produced.

SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS)

Selective laser sintering. Components created using a powder sintering process at selected points, causing nylon or polyamide powder particles to melt together and solidify. This material is thermally stable, meaning that it can be sterilised.

EVERY DETAIL

To complete some tasks correctly, Avinent has manufacturing technologies that complement the printed product and give it the required finish for the best possible use.

Milling
Milling

Milling

AVINENT has the experience to be an expert in milling systems. HSM (high speed milling) technology can provide personalised structures without modifying the material’s structure.

Anodising
Anodising

Anodising

The electrolytic process thickens the surface of the component, providing more protection against external agents.

Polishing
Polishing

Polishing

We finish the components by polishing to improve the surface appearance, providing a high-quality outcome.

Laser etching
Laser etching

Laser etching

We use laser etching on some components as required to ensure their design functionality.

Colouring
Colouring

Colouring

We can change the material colour of some components in order to make them stand out and improve their usability.
