The QuirofAM project is part of the Llavor 3D community, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya to accelerate and develop the adaptation of additive manufacturing in the industrial sector and co-financed through the FEDER Catalunya 2014-2020 operational program.
The objective of the QuirofAM project is the transformation of surgical practice by incorporating additive manufacturing at three levels: surgical test models, guides and implants for reconstruction and bioactive implants for tissue generation. One of the most interesting benefits of this technology in the biomedical sector is the individualization of treatments.
